Volleyball - Recreational to Competitive Leagues

Volleyball is a game that can satisfy both serious competitors and casual enthusiasts. Playground Sports Volleyball Leagues offers recreational and competitive divisions to accommodate all levels of interest. Volleyball run year round women's and coed leagues are offered. Teams consist of 6-10 people for the women and coed leagues. Individual and team sign-ups are available; see volleyball registration for more details about upcoming leagues, fees, and other riff raff. Join teamvolley and have a ball.

Vaccinations required for all league play/participation. - Contact the office if your membership is not at the "Vaccinated-All Access" level.

League shirts will be provided. Pick up of team shirts will happen at Direct Kick before league begins. Players must wear league shirts for play.

Ways to Register:

  • Sponsored Teams: Contact Bec at play@playgroundsports.net to get instructions regarding registration players without fees and invoicing to sponsors.
  • Captains: Sign up to hold your team's spot ($50 team fee + individual player registration fee). Captains will send out roster invites (online via Playground Sports account) for your teammates to join your team. Each player must individually register for the team and pay their team fee. If the team does not have the minimum number of registered players required by the deadline, the team will NOT be included on the schedule. All players will receive individual player registration fee refunds, however, the $50 team fee will not be refunded if the team is not included on the schedule.
  • Team Player: For players who have been invited/asked to join a team. Captain has already registered the team slot. Players may either use the invitation to join the team emailed by their captain or register directly online for as a team player. Simply choose the team name from the drop-down list during registration and your captain will be informed and asked to accept your registration.
  • Small Groups: For friends wanting to play together but don't have enough players for a full team. Each player will register individually entering the same small group name to ensure players are placed with correct players.
  • Free Agents: For individuals needing a team.

COVID-19 Update: Season start/end dates may be impacted based on OHA guidelines at time of tentative start/end dates. Start dates for Fall 2021 will be confirmed by 11/1/21. Refunds will be given upon request between 11/1-11/10 if season does not begin as scheduled. Scheduled league play may be delayed, stopped or terminated during the season. Teams will receive account credit for games/partial season cancellations due to Covid-19 related issues. Once the season start is confirmed, there will be no refunds, only credit to your Playground Sports account.
